You can use this simple rule every day to feel more confident.

You should do these 2 easy steps:

  1. at the end of the day find a few minutes to remember how you spent this day.
  2. praise yourself for three things you did today.

Just recall any things that made you happier.

Maybe, some trivial, but pleasant moments for you like a cup of your favorite tea, you ate more fruits today, you drank more water today, you walked longer today.

Don’t be too self-critical to yourself.

You shouldn’t finish a big presentation or another long-term project to say to yourself “Wow! I am the best today!”

Just focus on yourself, your feelings, small things that were pleasant for you today.

How to improve self-confidence

If you notice a low self-confidence then praise yourself every day for three small points, ideas, or your routine actions.

You can start praising yourself with the easiest things like the fact you slept enough and felt fresh.

How to improve low self-confidence. My practical tips

I am not a fan of positive thinking and future success visualization.

I didn’t believe in this rule, and I was a big skeptic.

Maybe, you feel the same at this moment reading my post.

Then take a break and praise yourself for your interest in self-confidence and your active steps to find answers to your questions.

Back to my story, I noticed that I felt bad, and I didn’t have anybody around to support me.

Even living with my family I didn’t get sincere sympathy for my achievements.

My insights are:

  • My work and experience are not important to them.
  • Everyone just cares about their interests.

I was unhappy with my family.

That was true.

I spent a lot of my time to solve my relatives’ problems.

Years of my life I spent for others and waited for their support.

I didn’t get it.

And that was a terrible feeling.

I realized that I lived my life for others’ interests because of my low self-confidence.

All my plans, to-do lists, and attempts to do what I liked didn’t work.

The only reason was – I didn’t believe in myself.

So I start finding ways to support myself to feel happier and to improve my self-confidence.

This simple practice worked – to praise myself every day for three things.

I didn’t believe it, but I recognized that it worked.

So, I firmly believe now in the power of praising yourself every day.

I recommend you make it a habit to find a time at the end of the day and say to yourself “Well, it was my good idea to walk in the park today, to buy an ice cream for myself, and to prepare dinner for myself.”

My benefits from applying a practice to praise myself every day

I believe in myself and work on this blog.

I am focused on the topic of self-confidence, motivation, and self-presentation in my posts.

I am making a habit of writing a new post every day.

I realize I should do that because my blog is new.

I am getting rid of self-criticism.

I praise myself daily!

Now I am focused on helping myself to achieve my goals in blogging.

And the key moment is that I don’t try to do everything perfectly on my blog.

I just keep writing posts, taking action, analyzing my work, and making some corrections.
