Hi!
I firmly believe that self-confidence allows us to discover new landscapes.
And I mean both original natural panoramas, and a range of fresh emotions, or so-called emotional landscape.
When you believe in yourself you are strong enough to go a long way.
Any journey brings new people, impressions, and experiences to your life and, therefore, opens another emotional landscape for you.
Do this simple gratitude practice when you have low self-confidence
I do this every morning and every evening.
In the morning I feel grateful for the important people I have, and the insights I’ve realized.
I say “thank you” to this universe for my health, for my husband, and for awareness of how to deal with toxic people who take away my resources and energy.
Every evening I am grateful for some concrete episode I had during the day, or repeat my morning gratitude practice.

For example, this photo reminds me that I was grateful for the possibility of visiting a valley of peonies with my husband.
Gratitude practice. How it affects self-confidence
The positive effect of this action is similar to the practice of praising yourself every day for at least three things.
The idea is that you focus attention on some values and pleasant things that are important to you.
Your mind operates with optimistic items EVERY DAY.
You notice and realize some pleasant moments and events you pass through.
Your mind is focused on these positive thoughts.
You create a source of encouraging energy for self-confidence.
This energy is produced from all the good words when you praise yourself and do gratitude practice.
You improve self-confidence by realizing and accepting your values, feelings, strengths, skills, experience, and knowledge.
Like fuel, this encouraging energy activates your mind to create internal support for yourself.
You believe in yourself!
Gratitude practice. Why it works
Daily you are focused on positive skills, actions, and thoughts about yourself.
You don’t wait for anybody to praise you.
You praise yourself every day.
Other people’s reactions to your actions and attempts do not impact your mood and attitude.
You go on.
You go on working on your goal.
It’s important to fuel self-confidence daily.
Toxic people and difficult situations may damage your inner support.
Gratitude practice is the simplest way to make better low self-confidence.
My experience of applying gratitude practice to improve self-confidence
Making my mind to find what I’m grateful for I concentrated on moments that give me energy.
When I’m healthy, I’m active.
So, my health is important to me.
When I’m happy, I am full of energy.
On the other hand, I started noticing what made me feel depressed, who made me feel uncomfortable, and with low self-confidence.
Why do I underestimate myself while talking to a concrete person?
In this way, I made it clear to myself that communication with some toxic people was terrible for me.
I felt bad. I was exhausted, but I only talked a few minutes to these people.
Some physical jobs like cleaning or gardening didn’t take away my energy so much as communications with toxic people.
I accepted this fact and started avoiding such communication to improve my self-confidence.
I did much when I was full of energy.
Thanks to gratitude practice, I found a key way to stand in resources.
Final thoughts
Self-confidence helps us to choose new directions in our lives.
We learn something new, we gain new methods to solve complex situations, and, as a result, we can praise ourselves for our latest achievements.
It’s like climbing. We climb higher and higher to see more colorful landscapes from new views.
Take care!
