September marks the start of a new school year or higher education at the University. So, today I would like to analyze how my favourite school subjects affect my life.
Math
Math and English make the most impact on my life and work.
I loved these school subjects!
I loved finding solutions to various mathematical tasks at school and later at the University.
Algebra, geometry, and higher mathematics were always my favourites.
What is weird to me is that I never think about careers in finance or accounting.
I always wanted to use my English in my work.
In my experience, math taught me to think analytically, to develop a critical way of thinking, to find different solutions, and to use different approaches, as craftsmen use their tools for work.
I firmly believe that math has a huge impact on our way of thinking and problem-solving.
Analytical or Creative way of thinking
I know that there is an idea that people have different ways of thinking – analytical and humanitarian skills. But I consider that even when a person chooses a creative job, in any case, math helps him or her make decisions faster.
Maybe the solution will be even more correct with some analytics. Of course, the impact of intuition on our choices is important as well.
However, I consider math useful for life and work. It helps us assess situations and complex factors faster.
The right choice leads to better results. And we make decisions every day not only for work, but for life challenges.
English
English allowed me to work in an international environment with colleagues from different countries.
It’s an awesome experience!
Now I have a goal to create an amazing international environment on my blog.

Why do we have our favourite school subjects?
For sure, in this case, teachers have an impact on our choices of subjects. I liked teachers who loved their work and respected their students.
No doubt, when expectations between the students and the teachers remain aligned, trust thrives.
That’s why I had some other school subjects I liked.
I have good memories of chemistry because of my school teacher. She noticed that I could do some level of tasks for a regional competition in chemistry.
She trained me, and I took the 4th position in the ranking list.
For me, it’s a memory of a woman who believed in me.
I was good in physics as well. Again, that interest was because I trusted the teacher and because of my curiosity. I wanted to know how it worked.
My career started in the logistics department of a large network of factories.
The first company I worked in was a manufacturing corporation. And I loved that environment and that period of my life.
Today I am interested in videos like “How it works?”. I like watching YouTube channels about different manufacturing companies and their processes.
Travel is also a part of my life and my work for this blog. But I can’t say that geography was my favourite at school. This subject didn’t have an impact.
I just love travelling. It broadens my horizons, and I become more productive after the trip. I can find inspiration and motivation in any journey.
And I love our family trips with my husband. It helps us focus our minds on travel, not on wartime, at least for a while, at least for the time of the journey.
P.S. Nowadays, Ukrainians get an education in wartime. Shelters are essential for educational processes now because of russia’s war against Ukraine! Air alarms and attacks are still our reality.
